Alignment and balancing in a car are crucial after performing preventive or corrective maintenance because when installing new parts, the adjustment parameters will differ due to wear.
Wear on components can affect the entire system; therefore, we recommend that when replacing ball joints or tie rods, you do so preferably in pairs or sets, as appropriate, to ensure proper function and durability of the component or entire system.
Remember that the main purpose of vehicle alignment is to distribute the car’s weight evenly across the tires, which helps prevent the vehicle from pulling to one side or causing handling difficulties.
When performing preventive maintenance, alignment should be done to ensure that any changes in parameters do not affect the vehicle’s trajectory, reducing fuel consumption as the tires will continue along the path without resistance.
Proper alignment will help reduce fuel consumption, as long as the tire inflation is correct and the components have been properly installed.
